The Powerscreen Trackpactor range is used heavily by crushing contractors, which shapes what a blow bar has to survive. Contractor machines take the work that is available rather than a single consistent feed, so a set of bars may see clean stone, reinforced concrete and mixed demolition arisings inside the same quarter.
We manufacture blow bars as compatible replacements for these machines. Brand and model names identify machine fitment only and do not imply any affiliation with the manufacturer.
| Crusher Model | Machine Type | Usual Grade |
|---|---|---|
| Trackpactor 500 | Track impactor | High chrome (Cr20 / Cr26) or Mn18Cr2 |
Grade is confirmed against your feed material and how the last set of bars failed, not fixed by model.
Other machines in the Trackpactor range can normally still be produced from a drawing or a worn bar. Send the model designation from the machine plate and fitment is confirmed before quoting.
Fixed-site plants can specify for one material. Contractors cannot, and this is the single biggest reason blow bar life on a Trackpactor varies so much between operators running what looks like the same machine.
Two things follow from that. First, the grade should be chosen for the worst feed the machine actually sees, not the average, because one bad load of reinforced concrete can end a set of bars that would otherwise have run for months. Second, the comparison that matters is against your own history on similar work, not against another contractor’s figures on a different contract.
Where a machine genuinely alternates between abrasive stone and reinforced demolition material, most operators settle on martensitic and accept that it is neither the longest-wearing choice on stone nor the toughest on rebar.
A bar of the right grade that does not seat squarely will underperform a compromise grade that does. Dimensional accuracy at the mounting faces controls how impact load transfers into the rotor, and a bar able to shift under load wears unevenly and stresses the rotor itself.
On contractor machines this is worth checking at every change. Track units take more handling than fixed plant, and wear in the rotor pockets shows up as one bar in the set consistently outlasting or falling behind the others. Where that pattern appears, no change of metallurgy will correct it.
Exact chemistry and hardness are confirmed with the quotation and can be certified per batch on request.
We also manufacture blow bars for Kleemann MOBIREX, Sandvik QI series, Keestrack R series and Terex Finlay machines, along with our main range of HSI impactor blow bars.

No. These are compatible replacement blow bars manufactured by Melco Precisions Pvt Ltd. Powerscreen and Trackpactor are trademarks of their respective owner, used here only to identify machine fitment. There is no affiliation with or endorsement by the manufacturer.
Most contractors in that position run a single martensitic grade rather than changing bars with the contract. Changing sets costs production hours that usually outweigh the extra wear life a specialised grade would give.
Usually not. A consistent difference between positions points to feed distribution across the rotor or wear in the rotor pockets. It is worth confirming before changing grade, because a harder bar will not fix a machine problem.
Yes, and on older machines it is often more accurate. Rotor pockets wear over time, so a worn bar describes the machine as it currently stands rather than as it left the factory.
Both are possible depending on destination. Send your port and quantity with the enquiry and the quotation will be issued on the basis you prefer.
Send your machine model, a drawing or photographs of a worn part. Our team confirms fitment and recommends the grade before quoting – usually within one working day.
