Wear Parts Supply from an Indian Foundry

Melco Precisions Pvt Ltd manufactures shredder hammers and crusher blow bars for distributors, importers and trading partners who resell into their own markets. Below is what you need to know before placing a first order.

Why Partners Source From Us

A foundry, not a trading house

Castings are produced in our own facilities rather than bought in and resold. That means the metallurgy, the heat treatment and the batch records are all under one roof, and a technical question about a grade gets answered by the people who poured it.

Manufacturing to your drawings, not only ours

Many distributors carry parts that no longer have OEM support, or need a pattern developed from a worn sample. Melco Precisions has 40+ years of experience developing patterns and casting to customer drawings, samples and specifications, from approximately 1 kg to 2000 kg per piece.

Grade range held in-house

High manganese steel, high chrome white iron, Ni-hard and alloy steels are all produced in-house, so a mixed order across grades does not become a multi-supplier problem.

Documentation with every batch

Hardness test reports and material certificates are supplied per production batch, so you can demonstrate consistency to your own customers rather than asking them to take it on trust.

Indian origin

For buyers reviewing supply-chain concentration or tariff exposure, India offers an alternative country of origin with established foundry capability and export documentation practice.

What You Can Stock

Shredder wear parts

Shredder hammers, ELV shredder hammers, dual hardness hammers, and shredder wear parts including grates, anvils, doors and pin protectors.

Crusher wear parts

HSI impactor blow bars, blow bars for Hazemag, SBM, Rubble Master and McCloskey, blow bars for Stedman, Eagle, Metso and Astec, VSI impellers and anvils, ball mill liners and apron feeder parts.

Parts we do not list

If a part is not shown on this site, it is worth asking. Much of what we produce is made to customer drawings rather than to a catalogue. See custom manufacturing.

Starting a Supply Relationship

1. Send the part details

A drawing, a sample, or photographs of a worn part with key dimensions. Include the machine make and model, the material grade if known, and the quantity you expect to move.

2. Receive a quotation

You will get grade recommendation, price, lead time and any pattern or tooling cost that applies before production begins.

3. Trial order

Most partnerships start with a trial quantity so you can verify fitment and wear performance in your own market before committing to volume.

4. Repeat supply

Once a pattern exists and a grade is proven, repeat orders run against the same records, which is what keeps consistency predictable order to order.

For Distributors and Importers

Practical guides written for the supply side of this business rather than for plant operators:

Distributor Questions

Do you supply distributors and traders, or only end users?

Both. We supply quarries, cement plants and recycling operators directly, and also distributors, importers and traders who resell into their own markets under their own commercial terms.

Which parts move best for a distributor holding stock?

Blow bars and shredder hammers are the fastest-turning items because they are consumed continuously rather than replaced occasionally. Grates, liners and pin protectors follow, usually ordered alongside hammers at a planned shutdown.

Can you manufacture parts for machines we already supply?

Usually yes. Much of what we produce is cast from customer drawings and samples rather than from a catalogue, so parts for older machines and for brands not listed on this site can normally still be made.

What quality documentation is supplied?

Hardness test reports and material certificates are issued per production batch, so results can be verified by your customer and repeated on later orders.

How does a first order usually work?

Most supply relationships begin with a trial quantity so fitment and wear performance can be confirmed in service before committing to volume. Send the machines your customers run and we will advise which parts to trial first.

Do you quote FOB or CIF?

Both are possible depending on destination. Send your port and expected quantity with the enquiry and the quotation will be issued on the basis you prefer.
