Sandvik QI series machines are mobile impact crushers used across aggregate production, contract crushing and construction-waste recycling. Several models in the range use a rotor arrangement that allows the machine to be configured for either primary or secondary duty, which affects how the bars are worked and therefore which grade performs best.
We manufacture blow bars as compatible replacements for these machines, cast to the dimensions of your existing bars or to a drawing. Brand and model names identify machine fitment only.
We manufacture blow bars as compatible replacements across the Sandvik QI series of mobile impact crushers. Fitment is confirmed per machine rather than taken from a stock list, because rotor pockets on machines that have run several sets no longer always match the original drawing.
Fitment and grade are both confirmed in writing before quoting.
The same machine set up as a primary takes larger, less controlled feed than one running secondary behind a jaw. Feed size drives impact energy sharply, so a grade that performs well in secondary duty can start cracking when the machine is moved to primary work on the same site.
If you have changed the machine’s role and bar life dropped or breakages started, that is usually the explanation rather than a change in casting quality. Moving toward manganese or a tougher martensitic grade normally settles it.
It is worth stating the configuration with an enquiry, because primary and secondary duty on the same model can point to different grades.
Fitment is confirmed from any one of the following:
Where the machine has run several sets, a worn bar is usually a better basis for manufacture than the original drawing, because rotor pockets change with use.
Exact chemistry and hardness are confirmed with the quotation and can be certified per batch on request.
We also manufacture blow bars for Kleemann MOBIREX, Powerscreen Trackpactor, Keestrack R series and Terex Finlay machines, along with our main range of HSI impactor blow bars.

No. These are compatible replacement blow bars manufactured by Melco Precisions Pvt Ltd. Sandvik is a trademark of its respective owner, used here only to identify machine fitment. There is no affiliation with or endorsement by the manufacturer.
Larger, less controlled feed raises impact energy considerably. A grade specified for secondary duty can be too hard for primary work on the same machine. Moving toward manganese or a tougher martensitic grade normally resolves it.
Yes. Tell us whether the machine is running primary or secondary and what you are crushing, because the same model can point to different grades depending on how it is configured.
Usually yes. A worn bar or a drawing is enough to develop the pattern. Pattern cost, where any applies, is confirmed with the quotation before production starts.
Hardness test reports and material certificates are supplied per production batch, so results can be verified and repeated on future orders.
Send your machine model, a drawing or photographs of a worn part. Our team confirms fitment and recommends the grade before quoting – usually within one working day.
